"9 and 8"
I'm not a big fan of Tiger Woods; but, c'mon, he's g-o-o-d.
Apparently, Tiger's opponent in the first round of match play, Stephen Ames, gave Tiger a little gentle competitive verbal jab on Tuesday. Result? Tiger opened up a can of "release the hounds." (Double cliches are better) At the 19th hole press conference (actually, in this case it was the 11th hole), Tiger left no doubt that his performance was due, in some part, to Ames' now-regretted comment.
